(pronounced "Av-reen") is a beautiful four year old piebald mare born
in April, 2006 to Parnell's Muireann. She is the only filly outside
of Ireland sired by Billy’s Teardrop, an outstanding homozygous (black
and tobiano) stallion. Abby, as she is known on the farm, is
inquisitive and friendly. Abby has the potential to be a great show
mare as well as a brood mare. Abby was started under saddle by
Anthony O’Brien and rides Western and English. This Spring, Abby has
been learning to jump fences, and really seems to like it! Abby, as
she is known on the farm, was imported from Ireland
in utero.
If you want a unique, one-of-a-kind filly with Irish bloodlines, Aibreann is the perfect choice. She is a halter-quality mare who will
bring genetics to your breeding program that are not available
anywhere else in the United States. Abby has a double mane and
significant amounts of hair and feather. She also has a lovely
feminine head that complements her traditional Irish Cob
conformation, and we expect her to pass on her refinement to her
foals. This lovely four year old mare is available for sale for
