Broodmares
CAHIR
Cahir is a seven year old
Irish Cob mare imported from Ireland in 2005. Her striking piebald
markings and comical personality make her a farm favorite. Cahir,
named for Castle Cahir in County Tipperary, Ireland, stands 14.2 hands
high. DNA testing has confirmed that she is homozygous for both the
tobiano pattern (TT) and the black factor (EE). She is a wonderful
broodmare, having given birth to Parnell's
Keelin (2005) and Parnell's Ardan (2006). On June 4, 2007,
she gave birth to a handsome, homozygous colt named “Parnell’s
Glendalough”, who was sired by the award-winning Lake Ridge
British Sterling. |
