life is waiting for you here at Parnell’s Irish Cobs. Our best colts
can become your new partner! We have three youngsters
who are looking for owners who want to grow with them. These boys
are all of the highest quality—some of the best we have ever bred.
And yet we
decided to geld all of them. Why? Because as geldings they can be
someone’s best buddy. They can be your trail riding partner, your
show champion, or your driving champion. As a stallion, they would
lead a very different life and mares would be their main focus.
There are enough good stallions in the Gypsy breed and many more
that shouldn’t be breeding stallions. We feel that geldings are much
safer and much easier for people to own, love and become best
buddies.
You can show them in halter now—all three are elite quality—or just
hang out together. As you and your pal grow together, you can
determine in which direction you want to go. Perhaps you want to
have a driving horse. Maybe dressage is the direction you want to be
working towards. It could be that you just want a steady but unique
horse to take on the trails. Buying a younger horse costs less and
you can work together with your partner to make sure he is raised
and trained exactly the way you would like.
