Broodmares
LAOISE
Laoise (“Lee-sha”) is a three year old
filly imported from Ireland in 2005. With her size and athletic
build, combined with her striking good looks, Laoise attracts a
crowd where-ever we go. She is incredibly flashy and an elegant
mover, and will be a big sporty horse when she is grown. Both of
her parents have First Premium ratings from the Irish Cob Society.
Laoise was bred to Lakeridge British Sterling in 2007, and an embryo
was transferred to a recipient broodmare. This foal,
Parnell’s
Tireachan, was born on February 25, 2008 and is a stunning
little colt. Let us know if you are interested in this ET baby or
have a different breeding in mind! If you are looking for an "Irish
Sport Horse" type, we think breeding Laoise to a thoroughbred would
produce a truly amazing foal! In early September, Laoise joined
Nuala and her baby
Grainne ni Mhaille, and
Lisdoonvarna at the 31st Annual Long’s Peak Scottish/Irish
Highlands Festival in Estes Park. Jodi rode Laoise under Western
saddle in the parade, where they wowed the crowd with Laoise’s
stunning markings and hair (click

completed four months of formal dressage training in February, and
her instructor has great expectations! Click here to see her
PhotoShow.
We participated Denver’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 15, 2008
with Nuala, who pulled our beautifully restored antique Gypsy Vardo,
along with Laoise, ridden under English saddle, and Lisdoonvarna,
who was shown in hand. We are very proud to have been named as the
“Best Equestrian Entry” in the largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade west
of the Mississippi River!!
