Stallions
LEANNAN
Born in November 2005, Leannan
is our outstanding stallion prospect. Leannan, whose name means "the gray lad" in Gaelic, is the offspring of
Clononeen Dunbrody and Parnell's
Brenna. Like his sire, Leannan
has a wonderful disposition, great bone and lots of hair and feather. Leannan is registered with the Gypsy Cob and Drum Horse Association.
Leannan
has
returned to the
Irish Rose in mid-September after spending three months driving training with Kevin Paul and Sheila Grange of
DrivingHorseConnection.com.
To celebrate,
Charlie and Leannan invited some friends and neighbors over for a
picnic and driving exhibition –

As he gains more
driving experience, we anticipate that Leannan will pull our
traditional Irish jaunting car when it is restored.
