At Parnell's
Irish Cobs, we are committed to breeding quality Irish Cobs that
excel in type and conformation, but also work in harness or under
saddle. We are pleased to present the following horses from our
breeding program for your consideration. Any of the Mares listed
would make great show-horses as well as broodmares. Keelin,
Lisdoonvarna and
Aibreann have all been started under saddle, and Aibreann and
Lisdoonvarna have been introduced to jumping! Lisdoonvarna is also
an experienced driving horse (single, pair, four-in-hand) as well as
a show horse, and is in foal to Parnell’s Leannan for a Fall 2012
baby.
Glendalough is a handsome four year old homozygous gelding (tobiano
and black) by the Gypsy Vanner Horse champion stallion
Lake Ridge British Sterling.
Glen has been started under saddle and he’s learning to jump,
and is showing tremendous potential. If you are looking for
foundation stock for your own breeding program, take a look at Cahir
