Caoinlean (pronounced “Quinlan”) was born on April 12, 2010. He
is by Parnell’s Leannan, out of Parnell’s Roisin, and we couldn't have
asked for more type and power in this colt. The combination of
Leannan's sweet head and short back, along with Roisin's hindquarter,
has produced a colt that will certainly have a future as a driving
horse, just like his sire! He carries the grey gene, and will grey
out into a blue just like his daddy (although Quin will be a blue and
white pinto pattern!) Quin already has a huge amount of feather for a
young foal. If he continues to develop as we expect him to, he may
attain junior sire status in a few years. For a serious breeder
looking for the classic traditional Gypsy Cob with type to spare, this
colt is the one. Take one look into his huge, gorgeous eyes and you
will be smitten! He is eligible for registration with the Gypsy Cob
and Drum Horse Association and the Gypsy Vanner Horse Society. Quin
is available for
$7,500.
