ROISIN

Roisin (pronounced "roe-sheen") is an eight year old imported Irish Cob mare. Roisin, whose Gaelic name can be interpreted as "Ireland's Rose" or "little rose", stands 14.2 hands high. She is homozygous for both tobiano markers, so she will always have colored foals.  Her striking "eye-liner" and amazing sweet temperament seem to catch everyone's eye, and make her our most talked-about broodmare. She is an absolute joy to work with, and is broke to drive. She is currently training to ride, and seems to be taking it all in stride. Roisin is the dam of Parnell's Lisdoonvarna. Roisin is in foal to Poitin of Beltane Vale Gypsy Horses for a Spring 2008 foal.
