MULL OF KINTYRE
Clononeen Mull of Kintyre
(whose barn name is “Romeo”) is a unique palomino stud
formerly residing at Clononeen Farms in Ireland. Standing 14.2 hands
high, he has the traditional Gypsy Horse conformation with plenty of
hair and feathers! The Mull was recently purchased by Desert Jewel
Gypsy Horses for an undisclosed six-figure sum, making him one of the
most valuable stallions ever imported to the USA! The Mull is now
standing to a very limited number of outside mares. We are very
fortunate to have two horses out of the Mull of Kintyre: Parnell’s
Lisdoonvarna,
a beautiful piebald filly, is one of a hand-full of fillies now in the
U.S. that were sired by the Mull of Kintyre. Lizzie is a coming two
year old and will be a fantastic broodmare. Parnell's
Anois,
foaled in 2006, is a wonderful stallion prospect – as he sheds out his
winter coat, it appears that he may be buckskin and white.
