Clononeen Mull of Kintyre (whose barn name is
“Romeo”) is a unique palomino stud formerly residing at Clononeen
Farms in Ireland. Standing 14.2 hands high, he has the traditional
Gypsy Horse conformation with plenty of hair and feathers! The Mull
was imported in 2007 by Desert Jewel Gypsy Horses for an undisclosed
six-figure sum, making him one of the most valuable stallions ever
imported to the USA! (He has since been sold to Villa Vanners in
Tennessee, where he is standing to a very limited number of outside
mares.) The Mull is one of only five horses registered with the Gypsy
Cob and Drum Horse Association to have been awarded the GCDHA First
Premium Model Status. We are very fortunate to have two horses by the
Mull of Kintyre: Parnell’s Lisdoonvarna, a
beautiful piebald mare, is one of a hand-full of mares now in the U.S.
that were sired by the Mull of Kintyre. Lizzy is a coming five year
old and will be a fantastic broodmare, as well as a ride/drive/show
mare. Parnell's Anois, foaled in 2006, is a
wonderful young gelding show prospect – as he has matured, he has
developed a beautiful smokey black and white tobiano coat.
