British Sterling is a seven year old triple-registered Gypsy
Vanner stallion imported from the Vines family in England in 2004 by
Lake Ridge Gypsy Horses. He stands 15.1 hands high and his mane
extends below his knees! British Sterling is homozygous for both
black and tobiano genes. He is not only gorgeous, but is also a superb
driving and dressage horse. On June 4, 2007, Parnell’s Cahir
delivered a smashing stallion prospect sired by British Sterling.
Parnell’s Glendalough is an extremely typey
Gypsy horse, and is homozygous for the tobiano pattern (TT) and for
black pigment (EE), just like his daddy!
Parnell's Laoise was also bred to British Sterling in March, 2007
and an embryo was successfully transferred to Millie, a lovely sorrel
thoroughbred recipient mare. Millie delivered a handsome colt,
Parnell's Tireachan, on February 25, 2008.
