Tireachán’s
(teer-a-con’s) name means ‘lord of a broad plain’ in Gaelic, and he is
living up to his name - he is lord of all he surveys! He is very bold
and fearless two year old gelding. Tireachán is very upright and fancy
– with his short back, arched neck and extremely typey head, he could
make a superb driving horse as well as having great potential in the
dressage arena. Tireachán possesses all of the very best traits of his
dam, Parnell’s Laoise, our stunning daughter
of the great ‘Shampoo Boy,’ and his sire,
Lake Ridge British Sterling. (Tireachán is
actually an embryo transfer baby - Millie, the beautiful sorrel
Thoroughbred mare with him in the pictures, is his surrogate mom!) His
coloring is spectacular with his white face, black bonnet and
‘eye-liner’ eyes - he even has a teardrop on one eye. We expect him to
mature to 15+ hh - making him an excellent driving prospect for big
wagons! Tireachán is eligible for registration the Gypsy Cob and Drum
Horse Association and the Gypsy Horse Registry of America. Let him
create a sensation in your show program! Tireachán is for sale for
